TAP ROOM BARTENDER (Full-Time)

JOB SUMMARY

The Tap Room Bartender  is responsible for the guest experience at both of our taprooms located in Boulder, Colorado. This position requires an upbeat, positive individual who is willing to join our awesome team. This employee will assist in maintaining the taproom environment, providing top notch customer service and will seek to continually build the Upslope brand through out all of their interactions with our customer base. This is a full-time position, flexibility with scheduling is required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (but not limited to)

  • Provide guests at our Tap Rooms with excellent service while acting as the front line of our brand
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service at all times
  • Collaborate with a team of individuals all focused on the same goals
  • Be able to educate patrons on craft beer, our industry and our company
  • Properly perform opening and closing duties of both Tap Rooms
  • Attend and participate in regularly scheduled company wide and department meetings
  • Maintain cleanliness of Tap Rooms
  • Provide fun and engaging facility tours while telling the Upslope story (don’t worry- we’ll teach ya)
  • Develop understanding of draft line maintenance and operations
  • Actively pursue continued beer education through training programs
  • Assist in company held events such as our Anniversary Party and The Upslope Get Down
  • Perform other tasks and duties as requested

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • Must be 21 years old and over
  • Prior knowledge/experience in customer service environment preferred
  • Prior knowledge/ experience in craft beer or a strong willingness and ability to learn is mandatory
  • Prior knowledge/ experience in draft line operations or a strong willingness and ability to learn is mandatory
  • Must be enthusiastic, engaging, well organized and self-motivated
  • Must be willing to work weekends, weekdays, holidays, days and nights
