Valentine’s Day Knots and Beer! (Flatiron Park)

How about a different sort of Valentines date night?

Did you know that every knot serves a different purpose? Knowing how to tie various knots can go a long way to getting yourself out of tricky situations in the wilderness and around the home. Fire Heart Adventures and Outdoor Adventure Quest will be teaching you these skills that can help you get in or out of some “knotty” situations.

We will learn to tie (hopefully):

-Double half-hitch
-Square knot
-Trucker’s hitch
-Clove hitch
-Tautline hitch
-Bowline
-Sheet bend
-Monkey’ paw
